About the Resource Base
Rushey Green Primary School hosts a Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for Key Stage 2 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Located within our mainstream primary school in Catford
- Serves children from Nursery to Year 6
- Purpose-built provision for pupils with an EHCP where SEMH is the primary need
- Designed to provide a structured, nurturing and supportive environment
Our Aims

Integration with Mainstream
Pupils are part of both the Resource Base and the wider school community.
- Each child has a home mainstream class
- Pupils are expected to spend at least 50% of the school day in their mainstream class
- Integration is carefully planned and supported
- Ensures access to a broad and balanced curriculum alongside peers
Teaching and Learning
Learning is personalised and supported by specialist staff.
- Delivered by staff with expertise in SEMH

- All pupils complete a Boxall Profile on entry
- This helps staff:
- Understand individual needs

- Used to ensure a consistent approach

- Forest School Sessions
- Practical, hands-on learning

- Held at a local pool at certain times of the year

Specialist Teaching
